The Harness Racing Training Centre

The Harness Racing Training Centre was established in 1990 to provide a point of entry for anyone wishing to participate in the harness racing industry.

The Centre was established at Bendigo because of the strength of the harness racing industry in the area and the willingness of the local trainers to assist with the development of the students.

The Centre has a state of the art stable complex and maintains a team of horses for students to develop their practical skills. The horses are regularly raced providing valuable experience for the student group.

In recent years the Centre has developed a strong online capability, delivering the knowledge aspects of it's courses online throuhgout Australia.

The strength of the HRTC is it's strong hands-on training facility where students develop their horsemanship and build the skills necessary to train and drive harness horses.

The Bendigo Harness Racing Training Centre has a basic Mission:
